Laughter: I need to hear about every time you notice Jack laughing, and I need you to distinguish between the quiet chuckles when dad makes a pun and the louder expressions of fun.
Wow, this is different! Has he laughed today? He’s certainly chuckled a few times, but I don’t remember any guffaws. I’ll keep my notebook handy from now on.

Abandon: This area is for when you see Jack in the state described in the Play book as true play. It is only for times when he is an active participant, not “being entertained”. These times only qualify if they go on for a stretch of time. 15 minutes is, for example, too short.
