Fashionable Boy

Luke has been having fun with his outfits lately – he got very upset this weekend until Daddy found him a long-sleeved shirt to go under his short sleeved shirt, but when I did the same thing today, he put the short sleeved shirt under the long sleeved shirt instead! When I asked him about it, he just shrugged and said he wanted to do something different. I also had found him a pair of jeans to wear, but he had gone and substituted a brown pair of corduroys, telling me that he had found a hammer loop on the jeans, and he didn’t like those anymore. Urgh! He also insists on wearing a belt most days, and likes to wear a hat as well; today, he couldn’t find his Detroit Police hat his Aunt Karen and Kelly had gotten for him, and so he wore the O.P Taylor hat the brothers had from years ago that has a little propeller on it. When I said that might not be the best hat, he looked worried and asked if the police would stop him (someone’s Daddy teased him about the “Fashion police” a few days ago, and ever since Luke has been worried about the police arresting him if he wears the wrong thing), but I explained that policemen has far more serious things to worry about, and as long as you are wearing something, there is not going to be a problem.

I forgot to have him put the O.P. Taylor back on, but he was too cute today, with those brown shoes, brown hair and smile!
