Today was our first college tour, we went to Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine. Like Boston and Rhode Island, there was snow on the ground and it was chilly but still above freezing. We went on a 9:30 tour of the campus, Bowdoin is a relatively small school but I was surprised at how large/open the campus was, definitely a more traditional campus than Brown. After the tour we went to an information session, led by a member of the admissions department at Bowdoin. During the talk, it started to snow, not heavily but enough to be noticeable. We had lunch at one of the dining halls when the information session was over and then began the 5-hour journey to Middlebury, Vermont.
